Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team of creative and dynamic professionals. As a Ruby on Rails Developer you will be responsible for developing delivering and ensuring the performance of applications/software solutions. You will work closely with our business stakeholders to incorporate userdefined needs and feedback to improve application design and optimize performance. You will also provide technical support to our business areas and generate ideas for innovation and capability stepups.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop deliver and ensure the performance of applications/software solutions using Ruby on Rails React and other relevant technologies
   
2. Collaborate with business stakeholders to incorporate userdefined needs and feedback to improve application design and optimize performance
   
3. Provide technical support to business areas and generate ideas for innovation and capability stepups
   
4. Work with a team of developers to refine features/user stories plan sprints and participate in sprint rituals
   
5. Mentor and instruct junior team members
   
6. Support the architect in design specifications
   
7. Write and maintain reliable code create frontend and backend components identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs in code
   
8. Develop and maintain REST APIs write tests and perform endtoend testing
   
9. Prepare release plans and deploy applications in different environments (Test Acceptance and Production).
   

Requirements

1. Bachelors degree in IT and/or Engineering (master s degree a plus)
   
2. Minimum 5 years of related and proven experience in large technical software development environments
   
3. Proficiency in Ruby on Rails React TestDriven Development Python Django REST/GraphQL Containers/Docker/Kubernetes Agile/Scrum SW Release management process knowledge
   
4. Experience with agile/SAFE way of work ability to write clean code independently
   
5. Proficiency with software tools including Git Puppet Bitbucket Jira Jenkins
   
6. Good understanding of frontend technologies including HTML5 JavaScript and CSS3
   
7. Experience in Docker Kubernetes TDD BDD and testing tools (Rspec Selenium Cucumber etc.)
   
8. Experience working with any RDBMS (Oracle MySQL etc.)
   
9. Experience in CI/CD pipelines familiarity with Linux OS shell scripting
   
10. Knowledge in monitoring tools like Splunk and automation tools like Ansible is nice to have
    
11. Securityfirst mindset excellent communication skills in English

13. Proven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads and deadlines
