Job Description

Duties Include:
- Assist with the smooth daytoday running of the House and helps ensure the highest standards of pastoral care are in place.
- Supervise and provide care for pupils with particular responsibilities for the physical social and emotional wellbeing and presentation of the pupils in the House.
- Be reliable warm and friendly in their disposition with sufficient sensitivity to show tact and diplomacy.
- Have a flexible approach alongside a good sense of humour and an even temper dealing with all situations in a cooperative and sensitive manner are also fundamental to carrying out this role.
- Confidentiality and integrity are key.
Requirements
- Qualified teacher with Bachelor s Degree or above in relevant subject disciplines plus PGDE/PGCE/B.Ed. qualification
- Be proficient in written and spoken English
- The ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with teachers and other relevant professionals parents and students;
- An understanding of current developments in teaching;
- A commitment to pastoral care within the school;
