Duties include:
Develop a strategic vision for a high quality cocurricular programme.
Design a broad and balanced programme for extracurricular activities across multiple disciplines.
Oversee the timetabling and staffing of the cocurricular program.
Manage and review the CCA team appraisal processes leave and other logistics
Be actively engaged in developing networks and partnerships with associations and organisations.
Perform other duties as necessary in support of school objectives
Requirements
- Qualified teacher with Bachelor s Degree or above in relevant subject disciplines plus PGDE/PGCE/B.Ed. qualification
- Be proficient in written and spoken English
- The ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with teachers and other relevant professionals parents and students;
- An understanding of current developments in teaching;
- Experience of a range of assessment strategies for identifying students needs and supporting learning;
- A commitment to pastoral care within the school;
- A commitment to developing students skills through extracurricular opportunities.
