Job Description
Job Title: Azure Platform Cloud Engineer.
Location: Amsterdam Netherlands.
Sponsorship: Yes depending on requirements.
Work Mode: Onsite/Hybrid.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Azure Platform Cloud Engineer to join our team in Amsterdam. As a Cloud Engineer you will be responsible for designing building and maintaining scalable secure and efficient cloudbased systems on the Azure platform. You will work closely with our crossfunctional team to drive innovation selfdevelopment and customer satisfaction.
Mandatory Skills: Microsoft Azure Azure Data Factory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain Azurebased cloud solutions ensuring scalability security and efficiency
- Collaborate with teams to drive innovation selfdevelopment and customer satisfaction
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Git and YAML
- Implement and maintain Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates
- Ensure compliance with security processes and governance
- Participate in incident response handling and processing
- Eliminate technical debt and implement risk mitigation processes
- Provide coaching mentoring and education to teams and engineers to promote autonomy
- Develop and maintain documentation to facilitate selfservice and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field (B ICT) with at least 5 years of experience.
- 2 years of experience with Azure development.
- 2 Azure certifications (Solutions Architect Azure Administrator DevOps Engineer or Azure Security Technologies).
- Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Bash PowerShell)
- Experience with Azure DevOps practices Git and YAML pipelines.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- English proficiency in speech and writing.
- Agile and DevOps mindset with a willingness to experiment and adopt new technologies.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with cloud design patterns and loosely coupled architecture.
- Knowledge of algorithm development or data science.
- Familiarity with security processes and compliance governance.
- Experience with ondemand selfservice and service monitoring.
