Job Description
This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to discuss project objectives requirements and budgets ensuring a thorough understanding of their vision.
- Develop and present design concepts architectural plans and detailed drawings using computeraided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools.
- Create blueprints technical drawings and 3D models that clearly convey design intentions and specifications to clients and construction teams.
- Ensure that architectural designs are in compliance with local state and federal building codes zoning laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers contractors and other professionals to ensure that structural electrical and plumbing systems align with the architectural design.
- Manage the project lifecycle from concept development through construction ensuring projects are completed on time within budget and to the highest standards of quality.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that construction adheres to design specifications safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Review and approve shop drawings material specifications and construction schedules to ensure they align with the overall design plan.
- Research and select materials finishes and construction techniques that meet sustainability durability and aesthetic standards.
- Modify and update designs as necessary throughout the construction process addressing any issues that arise and ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Stay updated with industry trends including new architectural technologies sustainable practices and innovative materials.
- Prepare and submit necessary permits ensuring that all documentation complies with legal and regulatory standards.
- Engage in continuous professional development to maintain licensure and stay current with best practices in architecture and design.
- Provide expert advice to clients and stakeholders regarding design feasibility costs and construction methodologies.
- Ensure that all project documentation is complete accurate and stored in accordance with organizational policies and industry standards.
- Perform other architectural and administrative duties as needed to support the successful completion of projects.
