Job Description
JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Dispatch Rider to join our team. The Dispatch Rider will be responsible for the timely delivery and collection of packages documents and other materials ensuring that all deliveries are made accurately and in accordance with the companys standards. The role requires knowledge of traffic laws safety regulations and the ability to manage time effectively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely and promptly deliver documents packages and goods to various locations as per the delivery schedule.
- Ensure the accurate and safe handling of all items being delivered.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain and take care of the delivery vehicle ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Ensure proper documentation for deliveries including obtaining signatures and filing delivery receipts.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary.
- Report any accidents delays or vehicle issues immediately to the supervisor.
- Adhere to traffic laws safety regulations and company policies while on the road.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed in a professional and customerfocused manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery log tracking all deliveries and pickups.
- Communicate effectively with the office staff to coordinate delivery schedules and any changes.
Requirements
- Must have a good command of the English Language and any other vernacular language
- Proven experience as a Dispatch Rider or similar role.
- Must have a Valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
- Good knowledge of road safety rules and traffic laws.
- Ability to navigate efficiently and effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and carrying goods.
- High attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility and professionalism.
- Familiarity with local roads and traffic conditions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
