Job Description

We are hiring an Enhanced Staff Nurse Orthopaedic Ward for a Private Hospital in Dublin Ireland. We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality respect caring and compassion are central to all we do.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Participating in the supervision of patient care in the unit and providing pre peri and post procedure nursing services will be the main responsibilities of the staff nurse.
- In charge of managing treating and caring for elective patients in order to guarantee that the unit provides the highest possible degree of care.
- Create and record a care plan based on best practices and the needs of the patient.
- Provide thorough safe nursing care.
- Deliver care in a fast accurate and safe manner with little supervision.
- Take part in infection prevention control and quality assurance.
- Advancing patient safety health welfare and social wellbeing while upholding the privacy and dignity of patients and their families; making sure that medical records are kept safe and handled in compliance with hospital policies
Requirements
- Registered with the NMBIs general division
- Proof of individual professional growth
- Must have worked as a staff nurse in an orthopaedic unit in an acute hospital for at least two years after registering.
