ECommerce Account Manager (Amazon)
We are seeking a highly skilled ECommerce Account Manager with expertise in both Vendor Central and Seller Central to join our team at AcquireX. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth and managing vendor relationships ensuring that our products thrive on Amazons marketplace.
Job Overview
As an Amazon Account Manager you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations enhancing product listings and developing strategies to maximize revenue on Amazon. Your primary focus will be on managing vendorside compliance and fostering strong relationships with Amazon to expand business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Growth & Strategy
- Sales Planning: Develop and execute strategies for sales growth on both Vendor Central and Seller Central analysing performance metrics to identify opportunities for price optimization and product promotion.
- Revenue Growth: Monitor SKU performance to ensure healthy sales velocity and product ranking implementing datadriven strategies for bundling promotions and seasonal marketing campaigns.
Vendor Central Management
- Manage relationships with Amazon Vendor Managers to negotiate terms such as cost prices and promotional funding.
- Handle purchase order management to ensure timely fulfilment while minimizing discrepancies.
- Optimize revenue through effective demand forecasting and order management.
Seller Central Sales Optimization
- Create and optimize product listings for maximum visibility ensuring they are SEOfriendly.
- Strategize around Amazons A9 algorithm to improve product ranking and increase organic sales.
- Manage Buy Box strategies and competitive analysis to maintain compliance.
Vendor Relationship Management
- Negotiate favourable terms with Amazon Vendor Managers to enhance sales margins.
- Monitor Vendor Central operations resolving issues related to purchase orders and payment delays.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with account managers to assess results and plan growth initiatives.
Advertising & Marketing
- Plan launch and optimize Amazon PPC campaigns to boost product visibility.
- Collaborate with Vendor Managers on promotional opportunities through Amazons marketing channels.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyse sales trends and key metrics through Amazon Business Reports.
- Provide regular reports highlighting achievements and challenges in meeting sales targets.
- Work with internal teams to forecast demand and manage inventory effectively.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- 6 to 7 years of experience managing Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central accounts with a focus on sales growth.
- Proven track record of increasing revenue through these channels.
- Strong understanding of Amazons algorithms SEO practices Buy Box strategies and sales metrics.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a history of securing better trading terms.
- Proficiency in using relevant analytics tools for datadriven decisionmaking.
- Experience in Amazon Advertising (PPC) and running promotional campaigns.
