Job Overview:
Are you a talented and experienced network engineer ready to design implement and maintain advanced network solutions that elevate performance and security We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our team and support our clients network infrastructure needs. This role involves ensuring optimal network performance security and availability as well as troubleshooting and resolving any network issues that may arise.
If you have a solid background in network engineering a CCIE certification and handson experience with technologies like Meraki CheckPoint CradlePoint SDWAN F5 and Nexus switches we would love to connect with you!
Responsibilities:
- Network Design and Deployment: Develop configure and implement network solutions covering LAN WAN wireless firewall load balancing VPN and cloud services.
- Network Monitoring and Maintenance: Utilize tools like SolarWinds PRTG Wireshark and Splunk to oversee network performance availability and security.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex network issues involving routing switching firewall VPN and wireless configurations.
- Technical Support and Documentation: Offer expert support to clients and internal teams documenting network configurations changes and best practices.
- Innovation and Improvement: Research and assess new network technologies proposing enhancements to improve efficiency and security.
- Collaboration and Compliance: Work closely with network engineers project managers and vendors to ensure adherence to network standards and policies.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 5 years in network engineering ideally within a consulting or service provider setting.
- Certification: CCIE or equivalent expertise.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Meraki CheckPoint CradlePoint SDWAN F5 and Nexus switches.
- Protocol Knowledge: Strong understanding of protocols and architectures including TCP/IP OSPF BGP MPLS VPN QoS VLAN STP VRF and VPC.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication collaboration and problemsolving abilities with a strong capacity to manage multiple projects under pressure.
- Availability: Willingness to work oncall as required to support network stability.
