Job Description

Our customer CMBlu started in 2011 as a researchdriven project with the goal of storing electrical energy in any quantity in an environmentally friendly sustainable and costeffective manner. Since then they have continuously expanded our broad IP portfolio and expertise in largescale energy storage.

They are a highly motivated committed and fastgrowing team of over 180 employees now preparing for the market launch of their products and further professionalizing their organization.

Tasks

  • Optimization and further development of ion exchange membranes that meet product specifications.
  • Collaborate with the stack electrode and module hydraulics team to ensure integrated development.
  • Optimize membrane materials and design to improve performance output durability and cost efficiency.
  • Managing and communicating the improvement processes of cooperation partners and suppliers
  • Coordinate and manage projects related to membrane development.
  • Ensure projects meet cost and time targets.
  • Monitoring membrane performance and analyzing deviations from specified performance values.
  • Identifying and implementing optimization parameters.
  • Developing methods to ensure membrane quality and longevity.
  • Interface with laboratory operations to ensure schedules and quality standards.
  • Documentation of all development processes optimization efforts and project results.
  • Produce comprehensive reports on electrode performance and project progress.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in relevant fields such as batteries ion exchange membranes or plastics.
  • Experience in batteries especially flow batteries or plastics/polymers.
  • Sound knowledge of electrochemistry or materials science.
  • Understanding of membrane materials and design principles.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent project management skills to coordinate and meet project deadlines.
  • Proficiency in documenting and reporting technical processes and results.
  • Detail orientation with a focus on quality assurance.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
