Physical Therapist
Location: Eureka CA 95501
Schedule: 8:00AM to 4:30PM
Pay Rate: $5861/hr.
Summary
Demonstrates competency in physical therapy for pediatric adult and/or geriatric patients. The incumbent provides patient assessments develops and implements individual patient treatment programs provides therapeutic interventions utilizing current and effective methodologies and maintains effective documentation.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Ability to perform a complete initial evaluation on a patient.
- Ability to develop a thorough plan of care for the patient.
- Provide constant communication with administrative staff and technicians regarding patient plan of care and overall patient management.
- Interface with physicians and medical personnel to ensure proper patient treatment.
- Ability to understand variables in Physical Therapy treatment to ensure maximum treatment results with consideration of appropriate plan of care financial considerations and patient time constraints.
- Develop and maintain most current knowledge of PT techniques and new ideas in PT.
- Promote and encourage of the knowledge of PT in the community with patients and medical community.
- Develop appropriate home exercise program for patients and communicate this information to the exercise technicians.
- Utilize evidence informed treatment options for maximum patient outcomes
Required Licensure Certification Etc.:

Years of Experience: 2 years recent experience in acute care PT.

Certifications: CA License BLS COVID Vaccine
