Job Description
CT Technologist
Location: West Hollywood CA 90048
Shift: 4x10 Schedule (07:00AM 05:30PM); Shift: Mon Fri and alternating weekends shift
The primary responsibility of a CT Technologist is to ensure physicians and other members of a patients care team receive highquality images they can use to make diagnoses or assess the success of treatments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interpreting the orders provided by the physician or other prescribing medical professional
- Explaining what will happen during the CT / Xray scan to patients
- Positioning patients properly to take the necessary images
- Examining images to ensure theyre usable
- Updating patient medical information
- Cleaning and maintaining CT / Xray scan equipment
- Keeping an inventory of CT / Xray scan supplies and making orders for supply restocks as required
Essential Functions:
- Assesses plans implements and evaluates care for patients from adolescence through geriatric
- Approximately 1823 patients per shift
- Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment producing crosssectional images of patients bones organs and tissues that are used to diagnose medical conditions.
Qualifications:
- Min 2 years experience in acute/hospital will accept 1st time traveler
Requirement: CA License
Required Certs: BLS ARRT CT
Preferred: Fluoro
GE experience required prefers Toshiba
