You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailDescription We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Database Administrator (DBA) to join our growing team. In this role you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance security and availability of our clients medical device data infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Database Management: Install configure and maintain database systems (SQL Server Oracle MySQL etc.) to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Data Integrity: Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular audits maintenance and validation procedures.
Security Management: Implement and maintain database security protocols ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Performance Tuning: Monitor database performance identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to optimize efficiency.
Database Design: Lead the design and implementation of database schemas structures and queries to support business needs.
Capacity Planning: Monitor database storage and usage planning for future growth and scalability.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve database issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
Backup and Recovery: Develop implement and manage database backup and recovery strategies to prevent data loss and ensure business continuity.
Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for database configurations processes and procedures.
Collaboration: Work closely with application developers OT & IT staff manufacturing systems and other stakeholders to support databaserelated projects and initiatives.
Required Education
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate Oracle Certified Professional) are a must.
At least 5 year experience of database administration in a regulatory environment.

Experience
Minimum of 35 years of experience in database administration with a focus on SQL Server Oracle and/or MySQL.
Experience with database design principles normalization techniques and query optimization.
Proven analytical and problemsolving experience to develop robust and feasible data models with ability to abstract and think analytically.
Excellent understanding of data security concepts and best practices.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
