- The Product Distribution Centers (PDC) daytoday operations are under the supervision of the PDC Supervisor.
- This entails managing employees making sure that goods are handled stored and distributed effectively keeping a safe workplace and accomplishing operational objectives.
- The PDC Supervisor will collaborate closely with many teams to improve productivity optimize the supply chain process and guarantee that strict safety and service standards are fulfilled.
Requirements
Supervision of Operations:- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff including pickers packers and material handlers.
- Ensure smooth and efficient daytoday operations in the PDC managing the inbound and outbound logistics processes.
Inventory Management:- Oversee inventory accuracy manage stock levels and coordinate replenishment to ensure products are available as needed.
- Perform regular stock audits and resolve any discrepancies.
Logistics Coordination:- Coordinate the receipt storage and distribution of products ensuring timely processing and shipment to customers.
- Ensure that all orders are picked packed and shipped according to company standards and deadlines.
Staff Training and Development:- Train and onboard new staff members on warehouse processes safety protocols and operational standards.
- Provide ongoing coaching guidance and performance feedback to improve productivity and quality of work.
Safety & Compliance:- Enforce health safety and environmental policies and practices in the PDC.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies related to warehouse operations.
- Conduct safety audits and resolve any safety hazards or concerns.
Reporting and Documentation:- Maintain accurate records of daily operations inventory movements and any incidents.
- Generate and review reports related to distribution performance inventory status and order fulfillment.
Process Improvement:- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency reduce costs and improve service levels.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager to develop and refine workflows and systems within the PDC.
