Job Description
- The Product Distribution Centers (PDC) daytoday operations are under the supervision of the PDC Supervisor.
- This entails managing employees making sure that goods are handled stored and distributed effectively keeping a safe workplace and accomplishing operational objectives.
- The PDC Supervisor will collaborate closely with many teams to improve productivity optimize the supply chain process and guarantee that strict safety and service standards are fulfilled.
Requirements
- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff including pickers packers and material handlers.
- Ensure smooth and efficient daytoday operations in the PDC managing the inbound and outbound logistics processes.
- Oversee inventory accuracy manage stock levels and coordinate replenishment to ensure products are available as needed.
- Perform regular stock audits and resolve any discrepancies.
- Coordinate the receipt storage and distribution of products ensuring timely processing and shipment to customers.
- Ensure that all orders are picked packed and shipped according to company standards and deadlines.
- Train and onboard new staff members on warehouse processes safety protocols and operational standards.
- Provide ongoing coaching guidance and performance feedback to improve productivity and quality of work.
- Enforce health safety and environmental policies and practices in the PDC.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies related to warehouse operations.
- Conduct safety audits and resolve any safety hazards or concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations inventory movements and any incidents.
- Generate and review reports related to distribution performance inventory status and order fulfillment.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency reduce costs and improve service levels.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager to develop and refine workflows and systems within the PDC.
