In this role, you will play a critical part in developing, implementing, and standardizing systems and processes within the supplier quality domain. This will include ensuring that supplier quality strategies align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. You will be expected to provide expert guidance in the deployment of these strategies across the supply chain to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
A major responsibility is leading the quality assurance efforts and ensuring full compliance from suppliers and distributors. This includes monitoring supplier performance and quality metrics, identifying potential risks, and addressing any non-conformance through corrective actions. You will oversee and manage quality agreements, negotiating terms with suppliers, and ensuring their effective implementation and compliance. Your leadership will be critical in driving continuous improvement efforts to enhance supplier performance and mitigate risks.
Additionally, you will be tasked with monitoring dashboards that track supplier performance, identifying potential risks and quality issues, and taking corrective and preventive actions as needed. You will be proactive in managing quality risks, including those related to the supply of materials, components, or finished products, and will work closely with other teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment on quality objectives.
Your role will also involve fostering a culture of quality within the organization and among suppliers. By leading cross-functional teams, you will help identify opportunities for improvement and streamline processes to ensure operational efficiency. Collaboration with various stakeholders, including suppliers, regulatory agencies, and internal teams, will be essential to maintaining high-quality standards and mitigating any potential issues before they arise.
Requirements:
To succeed in this position, you should have a Master's degree in a scientific discipline, such as pharmaceutical science or engineering, to ensure a deep understanding of the technical and regulatory aspects of quality assurance. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in quality assurance, is required. This experience should have exposed you to managing supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and driving quality initiatives.
Strong technical knowledge in quality assurance and regulatory requirements is essential, as well as excellent communication skills. As the role involves regular interaction with various teams, suppliers, and stakeholders, your ability to communicate effectively, negotiate agreements, and address quality concerns will be vital. You should possess analytical thinking and a problem-solving attitude, particularly when identifying risks or non-compliance issues that may impact supply chain operations.
Fluency in English is required for this role, and additional language skills in French, Arabic, and Turkish are a strong advantage, particularly in managing relationships with international suppliers and distributors. Your ability to work effectively in a multicultural, virtual environment is also crucial, as you will be collaborating with teams across different regions and time zones.
