This is a remote position.
Schedule:
- Parttime (20 hours/week) Flexible days/hours for Virtual Bookkeeping. When meeting is needed please schedule only Monday Thursday between hours.

Job Description
As a Senior Bookkeeper you ll play a crucial role in revamping and maintaining the financial records of this thriving trucking enterprise. Your primary focus will be on cleaning up 23 years of historical data and establishing efficient bookkeeping processes using QuickBooks. This challenging position requires a detailoriented professional with strong reconciliation skills and a deep understanding of American bookkeeping practices. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive reconciliations using QuickBooks for multiple business entities
- Lead the cleanup and organization of 23 years of historical financial records
- Implement and maintain robust bookkeeping processes aligned with American accounting standards
- Manage daytoday bookkeeping tasks across various growing businesses within the organization
- Prepare accurate timely financial reports to support decisionmaking and growth strategies
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records ensuring high accuracy in all transactions
- Collaborate with management to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience in American bookkeeping practices particularly in the trucking industry or multientity businesses
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and strong reconciliation skills
- Meticulous attention to detail with a track record of maintaining high accuracy in highvolume transaction environments
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
- Strong problemsolving skills and proactive approach to identifying and resolving financial discrepancies
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with remote team members
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and potential scope expansion including possible future Canadian bookkeeping needs
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or related field preferred
