HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST (Temporary)
Our client an established manufacturing company with their US headquarters in WNY is looking to hire a temporary Human Resources Generalist to join their team. This role will last approximately 68 months through August 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daytoday human resource tasks for a company with roughly 200 employees to help achieve the goals of the organization
- Create maintain and update employee records data and ensure all related HR and Organizational Capability processes are in practice.
- Work daily within HRIS system maintaining data pulling reports and ensuring accuracy
- Assist with the talent acquisition process by creating new job descriptions reviewing resumes prescreening candidates interviewing candidates and scheduling/participating in interviews
- New hire onboarding & orientation; ensure accountability and ownership for the newhire onboarding processes and procedures
- Assist new employees with online software enrollment
- Manage benefits administration and address questions on benefits
- Assist with leaves of absences disabilities medical/family leave and worker s comp assisting with claim issues when necessary
- Employee relations support coaching mentoring and compliance. This includes having proactive touchpoints with managers and employees conducting stay interviews investigations exit interviews and propose opportunities for improvement and engagement.
- Stay up to date with and adhere to all Federal and State laws and regulations and collaborate with team members and stakeholders on ensuring implementation and practice.
- Ensure legal compliance but also all related organizational capability process compliance. This includes formal performance management cycles individual development plans performance improvement plans headcount requests and any other internal processes.
- Complete special projects as necessary: some of which will include collaborating with HR teams in other regions as it relates to improvement projects on: onboarding learning and development and talent acquisition
- Other duties as assigned

- Position is full time temporary
- Position is 100% inoffice Monday thru Friday 8am5pm
- $30.00 $35.00 / hour depending on experience
- 8 years Human Resources experience preferably within a manufacturing and nonunionized environment
- Bachelor s Degree required with HR certification or focus
- Strong aptitude with HRIS system required.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Professional acumen and ability to communicate across client groups and levels within the organization
- Detail oriented and accurate
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Strong computer skills including with excel word and PowerPoint
- Ability to multitask and prioritize; good time management skills
- Relocation not available
