You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAs a Senior Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the implementation and execution of quality management procedures and processes, with a primary focus on suppliers and distributors. In this role, you will work in a virtual environment, providing support to both local operational teams and the broader regional organization. Your contributions will be integral to ensuring that all aspects of quality assurance, compliance, and supplier performance are maintained at the highest standards across all stages of the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
One of your main responsibilities will be to develop and implement standardized systems and processes for quality management. This includes working closely with various stakeholders to ensure that best practices are followed consistently, from supplier qualification to product distribution. You will also provide expertise in deploying the supplier quality strategy, helping to shape and refine approaches to sourcing and supplier management in line with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
In addition, you will lead the quality assurance efforts for suppliers and distributors, ensuring that they meet the necessary compliance standards. This will involve conducting audits, assessing supplier capabilities, and working directly with suppliers to resolve any identified issues. You will also negotiate and oversee the implementation of quality agreements, ensuring that all parties understand and adhere to mutually agreed-upon quality standards.
A critical part of your role will be to monitor quality dashboards and key performance indicators, proactively identifying potential risks and implementing corrective actions when necessary. Your ability to analyze data, recognize trends, and address issues before they become major problems will be essential in maintaining the integrity of the quality management system. You will also be responsible for risk management, ensuring that any potential threats to product quality or supply chain stability are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Master’s degree in science, pharmaceutical science, engineering, or a related discipline. A minimum of five years of experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in quality assurance, is essential. You should possess strong technical knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices, along with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
Your analytical thinking and problem-solving skills will be key assets in identifying and addressing challenges within the quality management process. You should be comfortable working in a multicultural, virtual environment, collaborating with teams across different regions and time zones. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of additional languages such as French, Arabic, or Turkish will be considered an advantage.
