Diagnostic Radiologic Technician Opportunity
Make up to $121000.00 in your 1st year.
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT/XRay Technologist to join a great medical team! As a CT/XRay Technologist you will be responsible for performing procedures on patients assess requested exams and maintain knowledge on all equipment instruments and supplies. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various diagnostic imaging procedures including Xrays and fluoroscopy by physician orders and department protocols.
- Prioritize patient safety and comfort by providing clear instructions addressing questions and ensuring a smooth imaging process.
- Position patients appropriately and adjust imaging equipment for the bestquality diagnostic images.
- Monitor imaging equipment for optimal performance reporting malfunctions to ensure timely maintenance and repair.
- Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain organized patient records.
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare professionals to review images support diagnosis and contribute to treatment planning.
- Follow strict safety protocols and radiation protection measures to minimize exposure for patients and staff.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Current ARRT certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT).
- State licensure or certification as required.
- Proficiency in radiographic techniques imaging procedures and equipment operation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with patients colleagues and healthcare providers.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in a dynamic environment.
- Dedication to ethical standards and maintaining patient confidentiality.
