(Senior) Financial Analyst/Controller
Are you a detailoriented Finance specialist If so we are looking for you! To expand our Finance team we are hiring a Financial Analyst/Controller (m/f/d) in Berlin.
This role is envisioned as a versatile support function to aid multiple departments. The finance department is still evolving and theres a high demand for crossdepartmental support especially with involvement in Financial HR Marketing and Operations controlling.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for department requests regarding financial data and ensure smooth communication.
- Conduct adhoc analyses reporting and forecasting.
- Assist in creating and monitoring annual budgets and business cases.
- Support the annual audit process and help prepare the yearend financial statements.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable structures to support the expansion of the finance function and facilitate our growth.
- Identify areas where processes can be improved introducing changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Additionally document finance processes to ensure consistent application and compliance.
- Own the Financial and operational planning processes to produce a challenging/stretch/bold yet solid operational plan.
- Own all Monthend procedures including accruals and variance analysis between scenarios (actuals Plan Forecast...)
MustHaves:
- Professional Experience: At least 23 years of experience in finance as an Analyst Controller or a similar role.
- Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a focus on Controlling or a comparable qualification.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities for insightful data interpretation and decisionmaking.
- Good knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI) and data analysis tools (e.g. Excel Python SQL).
- Independence: Proven ability to work independently and with a high degree of selfsufficiency.
- Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
- Excel Expertise: Advanced Excel skills for effective financial analysis and reporting.
- BI Experience: Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools is a must.
- StartUp Experience: Experience working in a changing environment

- Controlling Experience by Department: Previous experience in departmentspecific controlling is a plus.
