Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

Monitor Social Media channels for mentions, comments, and direct messages related to the Company or Brand
Respond promptly to customer inquiries and comments on social media platforms in a professional and customer-friendly manner
Address and resolve customer concerns, complaints and issued raised on social media, ensuring a positive customer experience
Provide regular reports on social media metrics, customer interactions, and feedback to assess performance and inform improvement strategies.
Assist in the implementation of social media campaigns and promotions to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
Content Creation and Management:

Develop and schedule engaging content across various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
Create graphics, videos, or written posts to align with the brand’s voice, goals, and current campaigns.
Community Engagement:

Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and friendly manner.
Monitor conversations and mentions of the brand, providing positive interaction and addressing concerns when necessary.
Social Media Strategy:

Assist in developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand visibility and engagement.
Analyze social media metrics (likes, shares, comments, traffic, etc.) to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
Brand Representation:

Ensure that all social media communication is consistent with the brand’s tone and values.
Build relationships with influencers, fans, and partners to expand the brand’s reach.
Trend Monitoring:

Keep up to date with industry trends, popular hashtags, viral content, and platform changes to stay relevant and competitive.
Campaign Support:

Collaborate with other departments (marketing, customer service, etc.) to support product launches, promotions, and events via social media.


Desired candidate profile

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline
Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist on different platforms.
5 years of experience in customer service and 2 years as same level
Proficient knowledge of customer service and standard office practices and procedures
Proficient computer skills
Proficient standard office equipment skills
Strong people skills
Content Creation: Ability to create visually appealing, on-brand posts (using tools like Canva, Photoshop, etc.).
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with the audience effectively.
Time Management: Efficient at managing multiple tasks, content schedules, and campaigns.
Analytical: Ability to assess social media performance and adjust strategies as needed.
Customer Service: Quick and polite response to customer inquiries and concerns.
Creativity: Constantly thinking of new ways to engage and entertain the audience.
Qualities:
Adaptability: Social media trends and platforms change rapidly; being flexible and quick to adapt is crucial.
Empathy: Understanding the audience’s needs and concerns helps build stronger relationships.
Problem-Solving: Handling any issues, crises, or conflicts that arise online with professionalism.
