As the Partner Marketing Manager at WooCommerce, your primary mission will be to serve the end-to-end commerce needs of our customers while driving WooCommerce’s reach and revenue through strategic partnerships. In this role, you will act as the key liaison between WooCommerce’s technology partners, business development, marketing, and other internal teams, ensuring a seamless and collaborative approach to growth.
Your core responsibility will be to develop, execute, and manage partner marketing programs that support WooCommerce’s broader business objectives. You will oversee the promotion of our partners to WooCommerce users across a variety of channels, including owned, partner, and external platforms. This will involve working directly with top-tier partners to build strong, mutually beneficial relationships, define clear growth goals, and collaborate on co-marketing initiatives that drive results. In addition to leading the strategic side of these partnerships, you will also oversee the execution of these programs, working closely with marketing specialists in creative, channel, and content teams.
As Partner Marketing Manager, you will be expected to set the strategy for marketing initiatives in consultation with partners, ensuring alignment with both WooCommerce’s and the partners’ goals. This includes managing complex projects, coordinating with various teams to meet deadlines, and tracking the performance and ROI of campaigns. Data-driven analysis will be key to evaluating the success of these programs, and you will be responsible for providing detailed reports to stakeholders on campaign outcomes.
Collaboration with WooCommerce’s business development team will also be a significant part of your role. You will negotiate marketing development funds (MDFs) and other contractual obligations with partners, ensuring that these agreements deliver tangible value for both parties. Additionally, you will actively seek out opportunities for reciprocal marketing, where both WooCommerce and its partners can mutually benefit from shared promotional efforts.
To succeed in this role, you should have extensive experience in digital and channel marketing, particularly in SaaS, fintech, or eCommerce. A proven track record of working with channel partners to create and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns is essential. You should be results-oriented with strong analytical skills, capable of leveraging digital marketing tools to measure success across channels like email marketing, paid search, display ads, and content marketing.
Hands-on experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, or other CMS/commerce platforms is a bonus. You should also be an excellent negotiator, capable of securing value-driven marketing agreements, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail. Finally, as a relationship-builder, you will inspire teams across functions to work together toward shared goals, balancing strategic vision with effective execution.
