Roles and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Implementation of the Restaking Protocol:
   You will lead the development of the restaking protocol, ensuring it is optimized for both yield generation and risk mitigation. This will involve architecting smart contracts and other components to support the restaking functionality, while focusing on factors such as performance, scalability, and user experience.

2. Risk Analysis and Tools Development:
   Collaborating closely with the backend and risk teams, you will design a suite of tools and frameworks for comprehensive risk analysis. These tools will be essential in identifying vulnerabilities, monitoring system performance, and ensuring that the protocol operates safely under various market conditions. Additionally, you will help define and build APIs that allow for effective risk management and monitoring.

3. Cross-Team Collaboration:
   Close collaboration with frontend teams will be essential to ensure that the protocol's functionality is accurately represented and integrated into user-facing interfaces. Your input will help translate technical features into user-friendly solutions, enhancing the overall user experience.

4. External Partner Engagement:
   Understanding the diverse needs of external partners will be crucial for iterating on the protocol design. You will engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and refine the protocol to meet industry demands, ensuring its relevance and competitiveness in the market.

5. Simulation and Performance Testing:
   Using simulation tools and modeling frameworks, you will test the protocol’s resilience, performance, and security. This will involve conducting stress tests, performance benchmarking, and scenario analysis to identify potential weaknesses and improve the protocol’s robustness.

6. Mentorship and Team Development:
   As a senior member of the team, you will mentor junior developers, providing guidance on best practices, smart contract development, and system design. Your leadership will foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence within the team.

Desired candidate profile

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Solidity, Rust, and Blockchain Frameworks:
  Expertise in smart contract development using Solidity and Rust, as well as familiarity with blockchain development frameworks like Foundry or Hardhat, is essential for the role.

• Experience in Protocol Design (DeFi, Staking):
  Proven experience in designing and developing blockchain-based protocols, particularly in the areas of DeFi, staking, or similar applications, is a key requirement. You should have a strong understanding of the technical and economic aspects of staking systems.

• Analytical and Strategic Thinking:
  Strong analytical skills and a strategic approach to protocol design will be critical for optimizing performance, identifying potential risks, and ensuring the protocol is both efficient and secure.

• Communication and Stakeholder Management:
  The ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is essential. You will need to collaborate with a diverse set of teams and external partners, ensuring clear communication and alignment on objectives.
