You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAs an Engineering Manager for Groupon's Merchant Center, you will lead a talented team focused on developing and optimizing the platform that powers merchant interactions with campaigns, analytics, and customer engagement. Your primary responsibility will be to design and deliver scalable, high-impact microservices that align with Groupon’s strategic goals, enhancing merchant success and satisfaction.
You’ll lead by example, mentoring engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement. By providing guidance on technical solutions and best practices, you will help the team build high-quality, reliable services that drive value for merchants and users alike. You’ll ensure that your engineers have the tools, resources, and support they need to thrive.
Your role will also involve cross-functional collaboration with Product, Commercial, and other teams to define, prioritize, and deliver features that meet business needs. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that the Travel roadmap is executed efficiently, meeting both technical and business objectives.
In addition to managing technical execution, you will oversee the ongoing delivery and operational health of services, ensuring high availability and performance. You’ll drive improvements in engineering processes, making sure the team continually refines its practices for greater productivity and quality.
Through effective leadership, you will empower your team to take ownership, innovate, and deliver solutions that elevate the Merchant Center and contribute to Groupon’s success.
