This is a remote position.
Position: Sales Development Team Member (SDT)
Employment Type: Fulltime
Key Requirements: Candidates must exhibit a high level of confidence particularly in phone communication.
Hiring Goal: We aim to bring on up to two candidates immediately with a target of expanding this team to a total of three members by Q3 2025. Following the training of the initial two hires we plan to recruit an additional team member to complete the team.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 9 AM 5 PM (USA East Coast hours)
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Qualification: Proactively identify and reach out to prospective customers assess their product needs and qualify leads to support a robust sales pipeline.
New Business Development: Use email outreach coldcalling and virtual meetings to send samples to qualified leads across the U.S. and Canadian markets.
FollowUp and Relationship Building: Conduct timely followups and manage initial client interactions to maximize conversion.
Meet and Exceed Sales Goals: Take ownership of personal and team targets transforming qualified leads into loyal customers.
Requirements
Key Qualifications:
Fluent in English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear confident interaction with clients.
High Level of Confidence Over the Phone: Comfortable and effective in engaging with clients via phone to build strong connections.
Lead Qualification Skills: Proven ability to assess highpotential leads.
B2B Sales Experience: Previous experience in B2B sales lead generation or customer acquisition is an asset.
Technical/Electrical Background (Preferred): Familiarity with lighting technology or electrical products is an advantage.
ColdCalling Expertise: Skilled in coldcalling to spark interest and build new client relationships.
