Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our academic team as a Part-Time Faculty Member in Psychology. The ideal candidate will hold a Master's degree in Psychology from a reputable university and demonstrate a strong commitment to student success and academic excellence.

Key qualifications include:

  • Bilingual proficiency in both Arabic and English, with the ability to effectively teach and communicate in both languages.
  • A proven track record of teaching experience, specifically in undergraduate Psychology courses.
  • In-depth knowledge of core psychological concepts, theories, and research methods.
  • Passion for fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for diverse student populations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in Psychology, preparing and delivering lectures, grading assignments, and providing academic support to students. They should also be able to contribute to the development of course materials and participate in departmental meetings and activities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

The ideal candidate will also contribute to course development, adapting the curriculum as needed to meet the evolving needs of students.

  • Research Potential: Candidates should have strong potential for research involvement, particularly in one or more of the university’s priority research areas. Participation in ongoing research activities and contributing to the academic community is an essential part of the position.

  • Communication and Teaching Skills: Applicants must possess excellent communication skills, both in Arabic and English, to facilitate effective instruction and student engagement. Familiarity with modern teaching methods, including the integration of technology and innovative instructional strategies, is essential to enhance the learning experience.
