Qualifications and Requirements:
Educational Requirements: Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Psychology from a recognized institution. A strong academic background and the ability to effectively teach core psychology concepts are essential.
Language Skills: The successful candidate must be bilingual in Arabic and English, with fluency in both written and spoken communication. The ability to teach and engage with students in both languages is a key requirement for this role.
Teaching Experience: A minimum of three to five years of teaching experience in a higher education setting is required. Applicants should demonstrate their capability to deliver engaging, high-quality instruction, provide mentorship to students, and foster a positive learning environment.
Teaching Responsibilities: As part of this role, the candidate will teach undergraduate psychology courses. This includes setting clear learning objectives, preparing and delivering course content, evaluating student performance, and offering tutoring and additional support during office hours. The ideal candidate will also contribute to course development, adapting the curriculum as needed to meet the evolving needs of students.
Research Potential: Candidates should have strong potential for research involvement, particularly in one or more of the university’s priority research areas. Participation in ongoing research activities and contributing to the academic community is an essential part of the position.
Communication and Teaching Skills: Applicants must possess excellent communication skills, both in Arabic and English, to facilitate effective instruction and student engagement. Familiarity with modern teaching methods, including the integration of technology and innovative instructional strategies, is essential to enhance the learning experience.
