Job Description
Job Title: Backend & Microservices Developer (Java)
Location: Remote Portugal
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Backend & Microservices Developer to join our partner a leader in the Telecommunications sector and contribute to the creation of advanced applications. This is an opportunity to work with modern technologies in a fastpaced innovative environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop highquality scalable and secure Java applications.
Build robust microservices using the SpringBoot framework.
Design write and maintain efficient testable and wellstructured code based on modern design patterns.
Collaborate across teams to drive the software development lifecycle from planning to deployment.
Optimize and maintain CI/CD Git pipelines for smooth integration and deployment.
Apply best practices to ensure quality and reliability in code and software delivery.
Required Qualifications:
More than 5 years experience with Java (from version 11) Microservices TDD AWS and Docker.
Proven experience in Java application development with a focus on scalability and security.
Experience working with the SpringBoot framework.
Strong skills in creating welldesigned testable and efficient code.
Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Git pipelines.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Fluent in English both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform).
Knowledge of serverless technology and infrastructure as code principles.
