Job Description
Rate of Pay: $16.85/hour USD
Prepare and service beverages for servers and guests in a timely efficient friendly and professional manner. See guests from start to finish through a fivestar dining experience including all knowledge and service of food wine and spirits.
Job responsibilities include; although are not limited to:
Is well groomed and is following our dress code/ uniform policy when at work
Ensure all mise en place are setup and ready for service according to the Lobby Lounge
SOP.
Assist service colleagues in completing preshift mise en place including complete bar
setup
Assist guests in receiving a flawless dining experience
To prepare and expedite cocktails and spirits selections to the guests and wait staff
Assist service colleagues in breakdown and cleanup of service areas
Check customer identifications to confirm legal drinking age.
Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
Qualifications :
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty to a high level of execution. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. Have an exemplary knowledge of spirits and wine as well as food and wine pairing.
Food Handlers Card required.
Registered with ABC and have RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) certificate.
Must be able to speak read write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
Requires good communication skills both verbal and written
Must possess basic math skills and the ability to use a calculator.
Must possess basic computer skills.
Ability to solve problems and make rational decisions.
Knowledge of Restaurant operations its services and facilities.
Experience in a bar or highvolume restaurant/bar environment is considered a strong asset
High school or equivalent education required.
