Acts as the focal point for Operations, ensuring optimal allocation of resources based on Terminal Operations priorities and safety practices. 3. Liaises and facilitates communication among teams from maintenance planning, Operations, and maintenance to deliver the activities plan. 4. Provides coordination between ON(M) Operations and Maintenance Division on multi-discipline works, including Management of Change (MOC), Plant Change Requests (PCRs), and scheduling of the work. 5. Ensures the implementation of maintenance modification works in accordance with QatarEnergy technical specifications, standards, and safety requirements.
1. Maintenance Scheduling and Coordination:
Work Order Management: Create, assign, and track maintenance work orders for both routine and emergency tasks. Ensure that all work orders are completed on time and accurately documented.
Maintenance Planning: Develop and manage preventive maintenance (PM) schedules to ensure that equipment and machinery are maintained on a regular basis, helping to reduce the likelihood of unexpected breakdowns.
Resource Allocation: Coordinate the availability of labor, materials, and tools necessary for the completion of maintenance tasks, ensuring that there are no delays in scheduled work.
2. Team Supervision and Collaboration:
Coordinate Maintenance Team: Supervise and work closely with a team of maintenance technicians, mechanics, electricians, and other personnel to ensure that maintenance tasks are performed efficiently and safely.
Training and Development: Organize training sessions for maintenance staff to ensure they are familiar with equipment, tools, and safety protocols. Ensure that technicians are up to date on the latest technologies and best practices.
Communication: Act as the primary liaison between the maintenance team and other departments (e.g., production, operations, engineering), ensuring that maintenance priorities align with operational needs.
3. Inventory and Parts Management:
Spare Parts Management: Ensure an adequate stock of critical spare parts and materials for maintenance activities. Work with procurement teams to order new supplies and manage inventory levels to avoid production delays.
Vendor and Supplier Coordination: Work with external suppliers and contractors to source parts and services when needed. Negotiate pricing and ensure that suppliers meet quality standards and delivery deadlines.
Budget Management: Help manage the maintenance budget, ensuring that costs are controlled, and maintenance activities are completed within financial constraints.
4. Preventive and Predictive Maintenance:
Implement Preventive Maintenance (PM) Programs: Develop and enforce PM schedules to maintain equipment performance and reduce the frequency of unplanned breakdowns. This may include oil changes, lubrications, inspections, and calibrations.
Predictive Maintenance (PdM): Utilize advanced technologies, such as vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis, to predict when equipment might fail and plan maintenance activities proactively to avoid unplanned downtime.
1. A B.Sc. Degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical Engineering or equivalent education. 2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in Oil and Gas Operations, with at least 8 years in a Supervisory role.

1. Proficiency in both oral and written English. 2. Strong management and leadership skills, along with the ability to motivate and communicate effectively. 3. Proficient in quick troubleshooting, with decisiveness, sharp analytical, and computer skills. 4. Ability to interact and coordinate effectively with other departments in a professional manner. 5. In-depth knowledge of field activities. 6. Proficient in organizing abilities and presentation techniques.
