Job Description
Powder Coating Painter
- Pay:$18/hr (based on experience)
- Hours:Day and Night Shifts
- Job Type:TemptoHire
- Location:Catoosa OK
Position Overview:Were hiring a Powder Coating Painter to prepare surfaces mix and apply paint and achieve highquality finishes on metal components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare metal surfaces by removing scale sand paint grease tar rust and dirt to achieve a smooth specified finish
- Load abrasives like sand grit or shot into machine hoppers as needed
- Select premixed paints or mix pigments oils and other substances to match required colors
- Proficiently operate power spray guns to apply coatings and ensure quality finishes
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of industrial powder coating painting experience with a minimum of 6 months in a similar role
- Ability to pass a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) and wear a respirator as needed
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and handling active handson tasks
