This exciting relocation opportunity to Qatar offers the chance to work with a dynamic team on cutting-edge cloud solutions, with a focus on building scalable, secure, and robust cloud infrastructure.
You'll get to:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, automate cloud infrastructure, and enhance system reliability and scalability.
Assist in migrating legacy systems from on-premises to cloud-native technologies, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption.
Cloud Architecture & Design:
Design scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure: Architect cloud environments that can scale according to the organization’s needs, using cloud services like compute power, storage, databases, networking, and other cloud offerings.
Assess cloud requirements: Evaluate technical and business requirements and design cloud solutions that meet these needs, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
Cloud migration: Plan and execute migrations of on-premises infrastructure to the cloud, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal use of cloud resources.
Cost optimization: Design solutions that are both efficient and cost-effective, taking advantage of cloud pricing models and services that minimize costs while maintaining performance.
Cloud Deployment & Implementation:
Implement cloud services: Deploy, configure, and manage cloud services, including compute instances, storage, networking, and databases.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager) to automate cloud provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
CI/CD pipelines: Set up and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines for cloud-based applications, ensuring seamless and automated code deployment.
Cloud Security & Compliance:
Security management: Implement cloud security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and securing cloud data.
Compliance: Ensure cloud infrastructure complies with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2) and organizational security policies.
Monitoring and auditing: Set up monitoring and alerting for cloud resources to ensure compliance, security, and optimal performance. Tools like AWS CloudTrail, Azure Security Center, and GCP Cloud Audit Logs may be used.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization:
Cloud monitoring: Continuously monitor cloud infrastructure for performance, availability, and utilization using tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Google Stackdriver.
Troubleshooting and issue resolution: Quickly identify and resolve performance issues, outages, and bottlenecks in cloud systems to ensure optimal operation.
Optimizing costs and performance: Regularly review cloud usage and resource consumption, recommending optimizations in storage, compute, and networking to reduce costs while maintaining performance.
Collaboration & Support:
Work with developers and other teams: Collaborate with software engineers, DevOps, and system administrators to deploy, manage, and optimize cloud-based applications.
Customer support: Provide ongoing support to customers or internal stakeholders, offering troubleshooting, issue resolution, and guidance on cloud-related matters.
