You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailOperate independently during assigned Ship Loading and referring to immediate line manager in case of non-routine issues.
Decision and recommendation on major issues are referred to the Head of Non-LNG Loading and in certain cases extensive to Head of Non-LNG Storage.
Liaise with Shipping Agents, Shipping department, Port Authorities, and facility end-users for coordination of ship berthing, cargo loading and sailing and maintains the record of the same. Liaise with cargo surveyors attending vessel loading to protect the interests of the Company, RLTO and Owners.
Monitor the positioning of the ship when moored to ensure the ship's position is safe for loading operations. Ensure correct mooring configuration, carry out inspection of the ship and its equipment as per the OCIMF ship/shore check list. Conduct preloading meetings with ship Master / Chief Officer and plans cargo to ensure safe loading operation and make agreement on emergency plans.
Control Systems and Automation:
In-depth knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Rockwell, etc.), HMI design, SCADA systems, and DCS (Distributed Control Systems).
Understanding of safety protocols such as IEC 61508, ISO 13849, and experience with functional safety (SIL assessments).
Hands-on experience with sensor integration, motor controls, actuators, and other automation components.
Machinery and Equipment Knowledge:
Familiarity with a wide range of industrial machinery including CNC machines, automated assembly lines, robotic systems, conveyors, and packaging machines.
Experience with industrial robotics, including programming and troubleshooting robotic arms, robotic cells, and other automated equipment.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
Strong problem-solving skills in diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with control systems, automation hardware, and machinery.
Proficiency in implementing preventive maintenance schedules, ensuring machinery uptime, and minimizing system downtime.
Project Management and Coordination:
Experience in managing machinery control projects, from conceptual design to commissioning, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while overseeing day-to-day operations of the machinery control team.
High school graduate followed by relevant vocational training programme.
10 years' experience in Loading process operations within the oil and gas industry.
5 years of supervisory experience will be added advantage
