Job Brief:
We are looking for an experiencedService Managerto lead and manage our service department. In this role youll oversee service operations ensuring toptier delivery and customer satisfaction. If you have strong leadership skills a technical background in manufacturing and enjoy working in a collaborative environment this position offers an exciting opportunity to make a real impact. Occasional travel (510%) may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Department Leadership:Manage the service team establishing and enforcing premium service standards and procedures.
- Customer Engagement:Communicate with customers to ensure their service needs are met.
- Service Coordination:Organize service calls to optimize the use of time and company assets.
- Performance Management:Monitor and evaluate team performance providing coaching and recognition to enhance individual and team success.
- Documentation & Quality:Ensure accurate completion of service requests and maintain high standards for documentation and service quality.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration:Work with other departments to develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and improve service efficiency.
- Inventory Management:Oversee the inventory of service parts and tools to ensure availability.
- Industry Awareness:Stay informed about new industry innovations tools and processes that can benefit the company.
- Training & Development:Ensure service personnel receive ongoing training on equipment safety protocols and customer service practices.
- Other Duties:Perform additional jobrelated duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience:5 years in a service management role within the manufacturing industry.
- Technical Knowledge:Strong background in manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Leadership:Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Software Proficiency:Familiar with service management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical Skills:Ability to analyze data and generate reports for effective decisionmaking.
