Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Engineering Technician to support and optimize our control systems within an automotive setting. The ideal candidate will ensure systems operate at peak efficiency and meet all safety standards. This role involves collaborating with various engineering teams managing supplier relationships and maintaining project documentation with a commitment to continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Verification: Design and execute test procedures to validate control system functionality including safety compliance.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare and review electrical hydraulic and pneumatic control drawings; coordinate with engineering teams to evaluate components materials and suppliers.
- Data Integrity: Ensure accurate process and build data collection for improved workflow.
- CrossDisciplinary Support: Provide assistance and technical insights to manufacturing process and other engineering teams.
- Maintenance Management: Conduct periodic equipment audits troubleshoot breakdowns manage preventive maintenance plans and implement process enhancements to ensure seamless operation.
- Supplier Management: Oversee supplier development and delivery to maintain quality standards and project timelines.
Required Skills:
- Strong troubleshooting abilities with electrical controls particularly in pneumatic hydraulic and preventive maintenance planning.
- Working knowledge of heat induction processes and systems.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 5 years of handson experience with electrical controls in an automotive environment.

Additional Requirements:
- Steeltoe boots flameresistant uniforms safety glasses and ear protection are mandatory.
- This is an onsite role 100% in the facility.
- Shift: 1st shift Monday through Friday from 6 AM/7 AM to 3 PM/4 PM with availability every other weekend.
