Job Description
- Clean and sanitize dishes crockery cutlery pots and pans with precision
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas including the Caf Servery Eat & Chat Room and Level 9 Kitchen.
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables
- Safely dispose of kitchen waste and recycling materials according to established procedures
- Ensure kitchen tools and equipment are organized and in excellent working condition
- Follow cleaning rosters and standard procedures for deep cleaning kitchen facilities and equipment
Qualifications :
You will be:
- Experienced in a kitchen environment preferably in a fastpaced hotel or restaurant
- Physically able to lift heavy items (1015kg minimum) and manage the demands of a busy kitchen
- Capable of working unsupervised and demonstrating initiative in a dynamic setting
- Skilled in operating industrial/commercial dishwashers is preferred
- Detailoriented with the ability to follow instructions and understand job requirements clearly
- Willing to work various shifts including nights and weekends with a positive Can Do attitude
