About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Production Manager to oversee the nightly production of highquality solar panels at our Washington facility. In this critical role youll be responsible for managing production teams optimizing schedules and meeting key performance metrics across daily monthly and annual targets. Working closely with our Maintenance Reliability and Quality teams you will ensure the highest production standards while driving efficiency and fostering a safe productive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Led and oversaw all production processes and teams ensuring smooth operations on the night shift.
- Supervise and support production supervisors guiding them to achieve production goals.
- Develop and adjust production schedules to meet daily monthly and yearly targets.
- Ensure timely performance evaluations for directreport employees and provide continuous coaching.
- Efficiently manage resources to meet production targets while balancing cost controls.
- Make strategic decisions about equipment use maintenance and procurement.
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
- Implement health safety and quality standards to create a safe working environment.
- Set and enforce quality control procedures analyzing metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare detailed production reports and estimates manage budgets and promote costsaving programs.
- Collaborate crossfunctionally with departments like Quality Engineering Maintenance Procurement and Logistics.
- Monitor KPIs focusing on metrics like OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and labor hours per panel.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ADP software.
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Indepth knowledge of production management and health & safety standards.
- Strong decisionmaking abilities and a resultsoriented mindset.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong leadership qualities to guide a team effectively and address personnel issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 7 years in production with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Demonstrated expertise in process improvement budgeting and production standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as a production manager in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with production planning controls and instrumentation.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $85000 $110000 per year (based on experience)
