Salary: $ 120000.00
We have partnered with a Consulting Engineers for the Utility Industries company in the Raleigh NC area to provide them with a Project Engineer III Substation /Relaying /Generation. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.
Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Project Engineer III Substation /Relaying /Generation:
#1. B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering required.
#2. Five to ten years of applicable experience required.
#3. Licensed Professional Engineer.
Requirements for the Project Engineer III Substation /Relaying /Generation:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
- Ability to mentor and oversee the work of junior engineers designers and CAD operators on the assigned team.
- Act as the primary contact for clients to manage ongoing projects ensure customer satisfaction and handle future business and upcoming project plans.
- Expertise in various aspects of substation engineering including physical layout design protection and control design relay settings programming field support substation commissioning and relay testing.
- Responsible for and/or oversee project design activities including performing engineering calculations utilizing design software and referring to relevant engineering procedures and manuals.
- Prepare and review complex project documents such as specifications and bid documents.
- Conduct and direct detailed drawing reviews ensuring plans are accurate clear and effectively represent the design intent.
- Supervise and assist in the training of Project Engineers I and II.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel Word PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Ability to interact effectively with employees at all organizational levels.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
