Overview: Key Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive migration strategies and roadmaps fortransitioning onpremise environments to Azure including workload assessmentsrisk management and phased migration plans.
Design scalable secure and costeffective Azurearchitectures that align with industry best practices covering IaaS PaaS andSaaS solutions.
Lead and execute the endtoend migration process includingdata center consolidation replatforming rehosting and applicationmodernization to cloudnative solutions. Experience with Lift and Shift in an AVS environment and working with landing zones and multitenant environments.
Evaluate and optimize cloud infrastructure for performancecost efficiency and high availability while maintaining the best Azuresecurity and governance practices.
Work closely with IT teams stakeholders and thirdpartyvendors to ensure smooth migration and adherence to timelines. Provide clearcommunication and regular updates to leadership.
Create detailed technical documentation includingarchitecture diagrams migration guides and operational guides. Conducttraining sessions and workshops to transfer knowledge to inhouse teams.
Proven experience in onpremises to cloud migration witha strong focus on Azure cloud environments.
Expertise in cloudnative architecture containerization(Kubernetes Docker) and microservices.
Strong experience with migration methodologies tools andautomation (e.g. Azure Migrate ASR Azure DevOps).
Strong communication and leadership skills with theability to guide crossfunctional teams.
Preferred Experience:
Background in IT infrastructure networking and systemsadministration.
Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
