Job Description
- Physical therapy helps reduce pain and restore function and independence in patients who have undergone surgery suffered an injury are recovering from serious illness or are coping with a chronic condition.
- Our dedicated rehabilitation team uses a multidisciplinary approach combining exercise and strength training with manual therapy and modalities to develop an individualized treatment plan that meets the unique needs of each patient.
- Treatment begins with a physicians prescription and a comprehensive evaluation by an experienced physical therapist. Therapist and patient then work ononone following a specific plan of care designed to help the patient return to work and normal daily activities as quickly and safely as possible.
Requirement description :
- 1 Year of Inpatient PT experience Required
- Ortho Experience Highly Preferred
- Travel Experience Highly Preferred
- Graduate of an accredited PTA institution Required
- MI PT License Required
- References NOT required.
- A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required. All other professions outside of Nursing are not required but preferred.
- Michigan license verification is required for nurses. Please provide LARA and Nursys; if there is a license hit it would be in the traveler s best interest to provide a writeup of what happened for the managers review.
- Physical copies of certifications are only required in the profile if listed above.
- Fulltime employees of McLaren are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
- BLS (AHA)
STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
- Michigan
ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : Active at time of submission
Weekend Requirements : Every Other Weekend for call
On Call Requirements : Every other weekend
