Job Description
CLIENT WILL CONSIDER A TRAVELER WITH A PENDING MA RADIOLOGY LICENSE. LICENSE MUST BE IN PROCESS AT PROFILE UPLOAD AND TRAVELER MUST HAVE LICENSE IN HAND IN ORDER TO BEGIN ASSIGNMENT. Thank you! CC
BERKSHIRE HEALTH SYSTEM WILL NOT CONSIDER ANY TRAVELER WHO RESIDES WITHIN 50 MILES OF FACILITY. To avoid delays in processing please include perm address at profile upload.
- GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0
- Ratio: Approximately 9 patients/shift
- Will always work with another Tech Aide or another MRI Tech/Traveler will never work solo

IF APPROVED BY HEALTHSYSTEM TRAVELER WILL WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON SITE. To avoid delays in processing please include traveler covid vaccination card/or intent to fill out exemption form with profile submission. Thank you!
PLEASE DO NOT UPLOAD A TRAVELER TO THIS ASSIGNMENT WHO WOULD LIKE TO WORK IN CONJUNCTION WITH ANOTHER PERM PLACEMENT OR TRAVEL ASSIGNMENT. PLEASE DO NOT UPLOAD A TRAVELER TO ANY NEED ON MY DESK WHO IS GOING TO REQUEST SCHEDULE ACCOMMODATIONS (Block scheduling etc). Thank you!
- Ability o function independently and proficiently in a high stress work intensive environment.
- Must be able to move and lift patients equipment and supplies on a regular basis.
- Must be able to operate complex radiographic equipment including Carm.
- Must have working knowledge of film processing and laser imaging results.
- Ability to stand/walk up to 6 hours per 8hour shift.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. intermittently throughout shift.
- Ability to lift over 100 lbs. without assistance and/or mechanical aid. Must possess sight/hearing senses or use of prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of the position can be fully met.
- Ability to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.
AT LEAST TWO SPECIFIC INTERVIEW DATES/TIMES OF AVAILABILITY FOR INTERVIEW MUST BE ADDED TO PROFILE PROFILES WILL NOT BE PRESENTED WITHOUT THIS INFORMATION. ANYTIME WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
Traveler must be willing to work TWO of the following:
Thanksgiving and weekend after
Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and weekend after
New Year Eve/New Year Day and weekend after
8hrs nonbillable
OT Holiday Multipliers: 1.25%
Requirement description : SCHEDULE ACCOMMODATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS NEED (10/12hr shifts). PLEASE DO NOT UPLOAD A TRAVELER TO THIS NEED WHO WILL NOT WORK THE POSTED SCHEDULE.
- 3 years current MRI experience required
- 2 years current XRay experience required
- ARRT (MR) and (R) required
- Previous Travel REQUIRED (at least 6 mos or more)
- Travelers working a concurrent per diem/prn assignment will not be considered
- Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
- Travelers must be willing to consider other duties on assignment during low census (within scope of practice)

- Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need. This is a firm requirement.
