Job Description
75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) NO LOCAL TRAVELERS Please only submit candidates that are aware of their submission to our facility. Please do not allow candidates to contact facility. Please only submit candidates with an active scrub tech certification. Please note time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved. When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager) a resume and completed skills checklist/competency assessment. 13 weeks assignment 2 years experience current required in large OR. Ortho ENT and/or vascular experience a plus. Must be a team player flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13week travel assignment. CERTS: BLS certification required. BLS must be completed through American Heart Association American Health and Safety or American Red Cross. S SHIFTS: Friday Saturday SundayOn Call : holiday and weekend call May fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call weekends holidays and float as needed. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts. Please note all travelers within CDS are required to float to all areas in which they are trained including ED and alternate holding areas to care for appropriate patients. This includes PresNow ED/UCs ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract not to exceed 40 total hours and includes EPIC training.
