Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

1. Market Research

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
  • Analyze data to assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies and identify areas for improvement.

2. Marketing Strategy Development

  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans and strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns tailored to target audiences.

3. Content Creation

  • Create engaging content for various platforms, including websites, social media, email newsletters, and print materials.
  • Ensure that all marketing materials align with brand guidelines and messaging.

4. Digital Marketing

  • Manage and optimize digital marketing campaigns, including social media, search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, and email marketing.
  • Monitor online engagement and analyze website and social media performance metrics to refine strategies.

5. Brand Management

  • Support brand positioning efforts by ensuring consistent messaging across all marketing channels.
  • Assist in the development of brand identity and marketing collateral.

6. Event Planning and Coordination

  • Plan and coordinate marketing events, promotions, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure successful event execution.

7. Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with sales, product development, and customer service teams to align marketing efforts with business goals.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding marketing initiatives.

8. Budget Management

  • Assist in managing the marketing budget, tracking expenses, and ensuring that campaigns are executed within budgetary constraints.
  • Evaluate the return on investment (ROI) of marketing campaigns to inform future strategies.

9. Customer Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, customers, and key partners to enhance loyalty and engagement.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve products, services, and marketing strategies.

Desired candidate profile

1. Educational Background

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in digital marketing, SEO, content marketing, or similar areas can be advantageous.

2. Experience

  • Previous experience in a marketing role, typically ranging from 2 to 5 years, with exposure to various aspects of marketing.
  • Experience in the industry relevant to the company (e.g., hospitality, retail, technology) can be a plus.

3. Digital Marketing Proficiency

  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, SEO, PPC, and content marketing.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Mailchimp).

4. Content Creation Skills

  • Excellent writing and editing skills to create compelling marketing content for various platforms, including blogs, social media, and promotional materials.
  • Ability to adapt messaging and tone to different target audiences.

5. Analytical Skills

  • Strong analytical abilities to assess market trends, campaign performance, and customer behavior.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to inform marketing strategies and decisions.

6. Project Management Skills

  • Solid organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in planning and coordinating marketing campaigns and events effectively.

7. Communication Skills

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and interact with clients or customers.
  • Ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to various audiences.
