Technology Manager

Roles and responsibilities

• Lead the onboarding process for new technology projects and initiatives
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and ensure smooth execution of technology onboarding
• Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, including implementation, testing, and user training
• Monitor and track the progress of technology onboarding activities, and provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact the onboarding process
• Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure timely resolution
• Develop and maintain documentation, including user manuals and training materials, to support technology onboarding
• Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new technologies
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to technology onboarding
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate the success of technology onboarding and identify areas for improvement
• Report on key metrics and performance indicators related to technology onboarding
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather feedback and continuously improve the onboarding process
• Lead and motivate a team of technology onboarding specialists to achieve project goals and objectives
• Collaborate with senior management to develop strategies and plans for technology onboarding
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Desired candidate profile

5+ years of experience in technology onboarding or related roles
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Experience in financial services or banking industry is preferred
Knowledge of technology platforms and systems used in banking operations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
Industry Experience: Experience in sectors such as software development, IT services, telecommunications, or any technology-driven industry is preferred.
Technical Skills
Technology Proficiency: Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies, software development practices, and IT infrastructure.
Project Management: Proficient in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project).

Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Strategic Planning: Experience in developing and implementing technology strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.

Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including executives, team members, and clients.
Vendor Management: Experience managing relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and partners
