Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

1. Sales Support

  • Assist the Sales Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for management review.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and nurture client relationships.

2. Marketing Campaigns

  • Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, social media).
  • Assist in the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and email campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and provide insights for improvement.

3. Market Research

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
  • Analyze data to inform marketing strategies and sales tactics.
  • Prepare reports summarizing research findings and recommendations.

4. Customer Relationship Management

  • Help manage customer databases and maintain accurate records of interactions and transactions.
  • Assist in addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely manner.
  • Support the sales team in maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and prospects.

5. Event Coordination

  • Assist in organizing and coordinating promotional events, trade shows, and exhibitions.
  • Support the logistics of events, including venue selection, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure successful execution of events.

6. Social Media and Online Presence

  • Manage social media accounts and contribute to content creation for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
  • Monitor social media engagement and interact with followers to enhance brand presence.
  • Assist in updating the company website and ensuring content is current and engaging.

7. Reporting and Analysis

  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, marketing initiatives, and customer feedback.
  • Analyze data to track progress against sales and marketing goals and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in preparing presentations for management meetings and strategic planning sessions.

8. Collaboration

  • Work closely with other departments, such as product development, finance, and customer service, to align strategies and objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment by sharing insights and supporting team members in achieving their goals.

9. Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative support to the Sales and Marketing Manager, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Maintain organized records of contracts, agreements, and marketing collateral.

Desired candidate profile

1. Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications in sales, marketing, or digital marketing are advantageous.

2. Experience

  • 2-4 years of experience in sales, marketing, or related roles, preferably within the same industry.
  • Experience in supporting sales teams or executing marketing campaigns is highly desirable.

3. Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).

4. Sales and Marketing Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of sales processes and marketing principles.
  • Knowledge of market research techniques and data analysis to inform strategies.

5. Communication Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
  • Strong presentation skills for conveying information to team members and stakeholders.

6. Interpersonal Skills

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, team members, and cross-functional departments.
  • Strong customer service orientation, with a focus on meeting client needs and resolving issues.
