The Content Writer position is pivotal in crafting engaging and impactful copy for all event-related materials. This includes developing branding and promotional content, as well as writing scripts for both the hero video and the after film. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the narrative, tone, and messaging of these videos, ensuring they resonate with the event's brand identity and objectives. By creating compelling stories, the Content Writer will help elevate the overall experience for attendees and stakeholders alike.
Key Responsibilities
The Content Writer will be responsible for generating a variety of written materials that capture the essence of the event. This will involve:
Branding and Promotional Content: Crafting persuasive copy that effectively communicates the event's vision, mission, and unique selling points. The content must align with the event’s overall branding strategy and engage the target audience.
Video Scripts: Developing scripts for the hero video and the after film, ensuring that the narrative is cohesive and aligns with the event’s objectives. The scripts should evoke emotion and inspire action, highlighting key moments and messages that reflect the event’s success.
Wayfinding Signage: Creating clear and concise signage that aids in navigation throughout the event venue. This includes directional signage, informational displays, and any other materials necessary for enhancing the attendee experience.
Translations: Handling translations to ensure that all messaging is consistent and accessible across multiple languages, particularly Arabic and English. This is essential for
Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years of experience as an advertising writer, preferably within an agency or design studio. This background will provide the candidate with the necessary skills to create high-quality content that meets client expectations.
Language Proficiency: A strong command of Arabic grammar and the ability to perform copy spellchecks are essential. This expertise will ensure that all written materials are grammatically correct and culturally appropriate.
Client-Focused Approach: The ability to work directly from the client’s premises in Jeddah is required. This on-site presence will facilitate collaboration and enable the Content Writer to align closely with the client’s vision and needs.
Ability to Work Under Pressure: The candidate should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple deadlines and adapting to changing priorities as needed. This adaptability is crucial in the lead-up to an event, where demands can shift rapidly.
