Description:
Working title: Shipping Specialist
Pay: 20XX
NTE bill rate: 28/hr
Location: 4850 North Church Lane Suite B Atlanta GA 30339
Duration: 1 year
Shift: 8 hours/day 7am3:#0pm
Interviews required
Must be fully cleared to start
Needed skills:
Shipping Specialist
FedEx software experience.
International shipping experience and customs knowledge.
Freight shipment experience.
Major Job Responsibilities
Provide freight quote as requested
Generate Proforma Invoice as requested
Prepare shipping and export documentation required for international shipments.
Coordinate with sales/customer service team to promote accurate and timely processing of orders for
customers
Ensure compliance with safety security regulatory and company policies
Communicate with sales/service and other functional areas to resolve customer problems in a timely manner
Provide support to Sales/customer service team
Perform other tasks within the SRI team as and when needed
Maintain international customer profile and relevant customer information as well as task specific SOPs
Required Experience Skills and Education
Serviceoriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
5 years experience in a related field
FedEx shipping software experience.
International shipping experience and knowledge of customs requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel
Preferably DOT/DG certified
Quick critical thinking and problemsolving abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize work
Good collaboration and teamwork abilities
Strong interpersonal skills ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and
outside of the organization.
High School diploma or GED required with a college degree preferred

The noise level in the work environment is light to moderate.

Performs all required safety and housekeeping tasks and audits.
Uses all requirement PPE according to area and activity.
Lead/Take part in department safety incident investigations when necessary.
Find safety issues and at once implement countermeasures involving the right resources.
Creates an environment and team attitude that delivers zero risk zero near misses zero recordables.
