Job Description
The Systems Engineer is responsible for designing implementing and managing the companys IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. This role involves working closely with crossfunctional teams troubleshooting system issues and applying best practices in systems management. Strong analytical skills attention to detail and technical expertise are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design deploy and maintain IT infrastructure including servers networks and storage systems.
- Monitor and optimize system performance to ensure efficient operation.
- Collaborate with software development and support teams to ensure system compatibility and troubleshoot issues.
- Implement security measures and protocols to safeguard the infrastructure and data.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
- Configure and manage network devices firewalls and other security systems.
- Perform regular system upgrades and patch management to keep systems uptodate and secure.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations processes and updates.
- Assist with capacity planning and scalability to support business growth.
- Support user and IT staff training on new systems and upgrades.
- Respond to and resolve system alerts and incidents in a timely manner.
- Stay informed on the latest technology trends and best practices in systems engineering.
