Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Person to join our hardware and tools section. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, sourcing, and inventory control, along with a deep understanding of market trends in tools and hardware. You will be responsible for driving sales, optimizing product categories, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the sourcing, selection, and inventory control of tools and hardware products.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring timely product availability.
  • Drive sales and profitability by identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and promotions.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure accurate stock levels and product display.
  • Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers in selecting the right tools and hardware for their needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in the tools and hardware sector.
  • Collaborate with store management to meet and exceed sales targets.

Key Qualifications:

  • Strong background in product management, sourcing, and inventory control.
  • Proven track record in negotiating with suppliers and managing vendor relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to strategically plan for category growth and sales optimization.
  • Familiarity with market trends in tools and hardware.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in sales, product management, or a related role within the tools and hardware sector.
