Roles and responsibilities

The Supply Chain Manager will oversee the entire supply chain process, from procurement to distribution, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in meeting customer demands while minimizing costs. This role involves collaborating with various teams, implementing supply chain strategies, and contributing to the overall business objectives.

Job Duties:

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
• Manage procurement processes, including vendor selection, negotiation, and relationship management.
• Oversee logistics and distribution operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
• Analyze supply chain performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, sales, and finance, to align supply chain initiatives with business goals.
• Monitor market trends and adjust supply chain strategies accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards related to supply chain management.
• Lead and mentor supply chain team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in supply chain management within the retail industry.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in supply chain software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
