Roles and responsibilities
As a Junior/Mid-Level SEO Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving organic traffic and improving search engine visibility for our company's digital properties. You will work closely with the SEO team to implement strategies, optimize content, and analyze performance metrics to enhance our online presence and achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Keyword Research and Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify relevant search terms and phrases with high traffic potential.
- Analyze keyword competitiveness and search intent to prioritize target keywords for optimization.
2.On-Page SEO Optimization:
- Optimize website content, including meta tags, headings, and internal links, to improve organic search rankings.
- Implement best practices for on-page optimization, such as keyword placement, content formatting, and URL structure.
3.Content Strategy and Development:
- Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-friendly content that aligns with target keywords and addresses user intent.
- Ensure content quality, relevance, and readability while adhering to SEO guidelines and best practices.
4.Technical SEO Audit and Implementation:
- Conduct technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues affecting crawlability, indexing, and site performance.
- Implement technical SEO recommendations, including site structure optimization, canonicalization, and schema markup.
5.Link Building and Outreach:
- Assist in link building initiatives by identifying opportunities for quality backlinks from authoritative websites.
- Conduct outreach campaigns to build relationships with relevant publishers, bloggers, and influencers for link acquisition.
6.Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor website performance using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and third-party SEO platforms.
- Analyze key metrics, including organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates, to measure the effectiveness of SEO efforts.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate SEO performance insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Desired candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or web development.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or Ahrefs.
- Experience with website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) and HTML/CSS basics.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for staying updated on industry trends and developments.
